Jimmy Groen (b. 1962) lives in Slenaken, Netherlands, where he works from his home studio.

Jimmy Groen creates versatile art in a mix of unique childhood experiences, contemporary stories, fantasy and unguided ideas. With Tim and Alex he makes special type of work in a mix of ages and identity. 

His creative focus from 2025 onwards is about the process and metaphoric storytelling. To this end, he uses connections between dimensions and the scale of objects (micro and macrocosm), whereby previous themes of landscape, portrait and nature are depicted in a more complex and indirect way as metaphors from real life experiences.
