This series presents raw, unfiltered works created during the long process of living with — and processing — experiences that cannot be spoken about in the Netherlands. The images confront what has been denied, legitimized, or silenced, yet remains deeply destructive in a personal life. By giving these moments form, they claim a space that was never allowed. Created as a place to exist, the images appear in random order, - as intrusive images- reflecting the enduring, decades‑long presence of the ‘esprit’ that does not forget.
