LEAVES

Larvae of insects that make holes, corridors and other patterns in leaves are called LEAFMINERS. They dig through the leaf while eating: larvae of beetles, sawflies, small moths.
Their products are a form of art in themselves: no leaf is the same! In the summer of 2022 it was very dry due to climate change and these leaves fell off. Forty-five pastel drawings on A4 format show the work of these leaf destroyers and artists!   29.8 x 21 cm,  ink/pastel on watercolorpaper.
