Jimmy Groen,  based in Slenaken, the Netherlands  explores symbolism, identity, and the gentleness of social imagination. He is the illustrator of the poetry of Dutch poet Lennart Willems.

Until 2024, Jimmy worked with pastel, watercolor, digital art, and glass, blending his creative output with his personal life story. He views his art as a part of his self-made Magic Paradise.

He is known for a multidisciplinary approach and for his unusual, often avant-garde concepts — such as queer youth identity, governmental violence and social injustice in the Netherlands and spatial storytelling.

His work is exhibited and available via platforms like Kunstinzicht and the artist community Soho Galleri in Sweden.

In addition to art, Jimmy is involved in sport, studying languages and theoretical physics.
