Jimmy Groen (b. 1962 )  is a versatile   multimedia artist living in Slenaken (NL), where he works from his home studio. In addition to making art, he is an illustrator of the work of Dutch poet Lennart Willems.

Jimmy was only able to choose art as a guideline and content much later in his life, from 2020 onward. His work until 2024 was mainly intended as a form of processing and storytelling..

He was a member of the joint studio Fantastike in Maastricht between 2020 and 2023, which marked his first successful exhibitions. During this period he took classes at the art academies of Tongeren and Verviers in Belgium..

.In 2025, Jimmy decided  to work more with multimedia and to make an interdisciplinary connection between art and different disciplines. His current projects are Micro worlds, Nature's natural forms and The Future is here.

He is currently working on new projects at the art academy in Tongeren. Since 2025 he is a member of the SoHo art gallery/ art community  in Västerås, Sweden.
