He explicitly states that for him the story is more important than a perfect representation of reality.  His art is therefore direct, honest and confronting — you feel it is about something.  He works a lot with themes that are often underexposed or taboo, such as:

His art stems from his own unusual life story and experiences. That makes his work not only expressive, but also necessary — it feels like art that must exist as a voice of marginalized and suppressed minorities.
