The Mirror of Loss: Tim, Alex & Jimmy

A black heart symbol is the symbol of  both loss and belonging.  Tim and Alex are not symbolic figures playing some role- they represent equal identity from their unique backgrounds, woven in a complex story - of belonging and loss, erasure and resilience.

We are disconnected:  for example, the LGBTQ - movement often does not want to hear that both sexuality,  gender and identity can also be a result of deep damage which is never asked for - so formed in unwanted circumstances; it's because they fear that their own "born so" argument will then falter. They sacrifice the  truth  for their own political narrative and reject what they deem 'not born that way so it's not valid' - far too queer to comprehend.   That is why there is always this mirror of loss and rejection,  as you will never belong anywhere else than  within  yourselves.
