Biography: Lennart Willems
Lennart Willems (1948) is a Dutch poet and word artist who has been crafting poetry since the 1970s, dedicating himself to his craft full-time since 2000.
His work frequently explores the fringes of society, giving a voice to the marginalized and the invisible—those who often go unrepresented. Willems’ poetry reflects a deep respect and fascination for the overlooked facets of the natural world, while never shying away from a critical perspective on the environmental decay caused by human activity.
