Queer soft rebels

Queer identity starts in childhood. In a series of portraits, iconic use of colors and symbols demonstrate the large diversity behind the  facade of the 'common child'. Queer- plus identity shows that true diversity cannot be captured in the colors of a rainbow or in any flag.

In the series the iconic use of color (e.g. contrasting gender colors of pink and blue) and symbols are used while the expression of the faces explain a covered story, based upon both personal and contemporary perspectives on gender and identity.
