PROJECT OUTLINE

They Are Everywhere, But Nobody Knows Who They Are is a project in which Tim and Alex draw simple outlined figures placed in everyday situations — a cow crossing the road, someone in a library, in a field, a passer‑by on the street. These figures appear everywhere, yet no one seems to know who they are. The project reflects on  people who exist in plain sight, but whose presence is overlooked, ignored, or rendered invisible. Their marginalization has many possible causes, but it is always shaped by a mutual dynamic: their hidden way of living — often a form of survival or pseudo‑adaptation — makes them harder to recognize, while society simultaneously fails to see or acknowledge them. Sometimes, they are at once visible for those that want to see them.
