SERIES :"They are everywhere but nobody knows who they are"

A project by Tim, Alex and Jimmy

In this series, both Tim and Alex place simple, outlined figures in the most ordinary of settings— in a library, in a field, while a cow is crossing the road. These figures are omnipresent, yet they remain unknown. They represent the 'socially death' in the margins of the everyday,  being cast out by society and governments, only because their identity  was 'made this way' (in childhood),  instead of 'born this way'. A child who becomes paralyzed due to an accident or illness will not later be ostracized only because of that disability - we then invest in the well-being and protection of the affected person - also in adult life.

All around the world children are deprived of any vertical bonding by war, disasters, poverty, state systems. You're not alone, you're not wrong, and you don't have to apologize for how you survived.
